3. SMS / Text Message Program

EquipMarket operates an SMS program to follow up with equipment owners and contractors who have expressed interest in listing their equipment for sale. Our text messages are sent from (480) 791-2466.

Consent & opt-in

We only send text messages to individuals who have provided express consent to receive them — typically by verbally agreeing during a phone conversation with an EquipMarket representative, or by providing their mobile number and requesting a follow-up. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Message content & frequency

Messages are conversational and low in volume — generally a one-time follow-up containing a link to create a free equipment listing, plus any replies to a conversation you begin. Message frequency varies.

Rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. EquipMarket does not charge you for text messages.

Opting out & help

You can cancel the SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will confirm your opt-out and send no further messages unless you opt back in by replying START. For help, reply HELP to any message or contact us at [email protected].

No sharing of mobile information for marketing

No mobile information (including phone numbers) collected through the SMS consent process will be sold, rented, or shared with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties for such purposes. Information may be shared only with service providers that help us operate the messaging program (for example, our messaging platform provider), and only to the extent necessary to send messages you have consented to receive.
